Now Hiring — Delray Beach, FL
Build Your Career.
Keep Your Life.
4-day work week. Rotating 6-day breaks without touching your vacation time. Company-paid licensing. We’re building an employee-first electrical company in South Florida — and we’re hiring the crew that grows with it.
Why Amped
Built by People Who've Done the Work
Amped Electric isn't a franchise or a private-equity rollup. It's two founders who believe the best service company is built around its people.
Jerred — Master of the Trade
Licensed electrical contractor with 20+ years in the trade. Built, ran, and successfully sold his own electrical company in Michigan, and served as a county electrical inspector — so the standard here isn’t “pass inspection,” it’s “work the inspector respects.” Now building it again in Florida, the right way from day one.
Andrew — Operations That Respect Your Time
Nearly 20 years in operations management. That means schedules that hold, dispatch that makes sense, parts on the truck, and paydays that are never a surprise. The business side runs professionally so techs can focus on the work.
We launched in July 2026 into one of the hottest electrical markets in the country — and demand is already strong. Joining now means real advancement as the company grows, not waiting for someone above you to retire.
The Schedule
4 Days On. 3 Days Off. Every Week.
Two rotating shifts — Monday–Thursday and Thursday–Sunday — with 10-hour days and a fair rotation every 60 days. And the rotation itself is the best part:
Rotation week: Mon–Thu shift → Thu–Sun shift
Last week on Mon–Thu shift
First week on Thu–Sun shift
Six straight days off — Friday through Wednesday — every time you rotate from Mon–Thu into Thu–Sun. Zero vacation time used. That’s a built-in mini-vacation with your family, multiple times a year, on top of your normal three-day weekends.
Every week
3 days off, 40 hours in 4 days
Every 60 days
Fair shift rotation — nobody owns the weekend forever
On-call
Rotated evenly across the team, never dumped on one tech
Open Positions
Three Ways In
Whether you're ready to lead, ready to run your own truck, or ready to start — there's a seat.
